We are happy to announce that the International Cognitive Linguistics Conference 18 will be hosted at the FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg on August 20–24, 2027 with pre-conference workshops on the 18th to the 20th and the post-conference social program on the 25th.

The conference will be organized by the Institute of English and American Studies and the DFG Research Training Group Dimensions of Constructional Space.

ICLC is the biennial meeting of the International Cognitive Linguistics Association (ICLA).

We welcome papers on a broad range of topics taking a cognitive, constructional, functional, typological, or discourse approach to the study of language and cognition.

The main theme of ICLC18 is “Exploring constructional and cognitive space”.
